The revision process for the Faith and Practice Book of Discipline of North Carolina Yearly Meeting (Conservative) is now well underway.  We have several sections at various steps in the revision process.

The revision process for the Faith and Practice Book of Discipline of North Carolina Yearly Meeting (Conservative) is now well underway.  We have several sections at various steps in the revision process.

Section 1 on Organization and Procedures has received first approval by the yearly meeting.  The provisional draft, attached below, will be considered at yearly meeting sessions in 7th month 2016 for 2nd approval.

Section 2 on Membership has also received first approval by the yearly meeting.  The provisional draft, attached below, will be considered at yearly meeting sessions in 7th month 2016 for 2nd approval.

Announcing a short course for interested members and attenders Introducing the history and principle elements of Quakerism.

"Quakerism 101" is held on 4 Thursday evenings 7:00-9:15 during January and February each year at the meetinghouse.  For 2016, Session 1 is Thursday January 14th followed by the next 3 Thursdays: Jan 21, Jan 28 and concluding on Feb. 4th.
