Thanks to everyone who completed our recent COVID survey about returning to worship at the meetinghouse. The survey results are now under consideration by various relevant committees.  Please contact [email protected] with any comments or questions.

The Peace & Social Concerns Committee invites Meeting members and attenders to submit an application (see attached) for small grants (usually in the $300-500 range) for organizations that you are involved in and whose purpose is to improve our community and/or build peace.  Last year's grants included Historic Fair Hill, Philadelphia Black Liberation and Community Development Fund, EQAT, the UN Association of Philadelphia, and Planet Philadelphia.  Applications are due to Steve Elkinton by April 30, granting decisions will be made in May, and funds disbursed by July 1.  If you rec

On Sunday, January 3, George Lakey joined Adult RE to speak about social class and political polarization (feeling led to share something different than what was originally advertised as being about Quakers and social class). Because of some technical difficulties, the session started a bit late, and the recording even later, but you can find most of it here  Attached to this post is a graph George had originally planned to share showing the correlation between income inequality and political polarization.
