Nonviolent Communication i(NVC) is a way of communicating more effectively and compassionately based on the feelings and needs we share as human beings. It is founded on the idea that people only resort to harming themselves and others when they don't recognize other strategies for meeting their human needs.
NVC trainer, Joe Brummer, will be replacing Imre Berte as our facilitator. There is still time for you to read Marshall Rosenberg’s book, Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life beforehand. It is a gift to all participants when people arrive prepared.
Workshop is free and open to the public.
Please bring a bag lunch. If you need child care, please contact Mary Gorham at [email protected] by April 19 with the names and ages of your children.
